few weeks ago we were asked to create some replacement covers for slot machines in a local amusement arcade in Clogherhead, County Louth. The old ones had got cracked and worn over the years and the owners wanted to rejuvenate the machines by adding some vibrant colours to the perspex panels, making this an usual sign making job for us! After designing the new layout, we applied the printed designs to the front covers like we would for a shop front signage job, leaving the machines with a bright new look, thus ensuring they will have a much extended working life!
While we were there, we also created a new numbered wheel for the Wheel Of Fortune game. The customer wanted different sized segments and different win amounts but still wanted to keep the original wheel. Again using a perspex panel, we designed the new wheel face and printed it as we would any other sign, laminated it and applied it to the new wheel.
With a little help from its friendly signmakers, this business now has shiny and new machines graphics ready for a busy new year!
