brass plaque on wall ready to be unveiled at opening ceremonyAbove is a brass plaque we created for the opening ceremony for Coláiste Lú in Dundalk, County Louth, a few weeks ago. Comprising of a brass plate mounted on a solid wooden base, the black lettering you see is engraved into the brass. For your convenience, we also fit our brass plaques as part of our service.

We have fitted many of this type of sign over the last few years in the towns of Drogheda and Dundalk to name just a few. We work with our customers to both create and finalise the design exactly as our clients like it, before the wording is cut deep into the brass plate and coloured black to produce a product that will keep its pristine  and classic look for many years to come. The wooden base plate is made from a hardwood to both compliment the traditional finish of the plaque and allow the plate to be fitted to wall that are less than perfectly flat.

When we take orders for our brass plaques, we always email proofs to our customers to approve, or make changes to the design. We do this so that the finished piece looks exactly how the client wants it to! If changes need to be made, we make them and create a new proof. By doing this, the customer can rest assured that we will deliver their sign plaque looking precisely how they expect it to.

We deliver all local brass, acrylic and brushed aluminium plaques ourselves, and uses DPD Couriers as needed for the rest of the country.
